Today we went to the free jazz concert that was put on by the Winnipeg Jazz Festival. I'm so glad we were able to go, even if we got there a bit late.
Here is a 1 minute video I took at the concert at the Forks. It was located in the center section under the canopy. The woman's name is Elizabeth Shepherd, and the two guys are her brothers. They were really good! I really liked the bass. He was amazing! I have a recording of that as well, and watching him pluck away at those strings was incredible. I have to say, watching a live performance just is so much better than everything else. It's an experience.
We have not been to a concert together EVER. This is my first Jazz concert experience and I really enjoyed it. There is all sorts of stuff going on all week that I'd love to go to, but unfortunetly it is difficult to tell if we can or not due to the fieldwork and all. However, I'm hoping to go to another concert someday!
