Awarded!

Lisa at Ladybug's Healthy Journey awarded me with the Gorgeous Blogger Award! Thanks, Lisa!

Anyway, by accepting this award, I need to:

1.) recognize and link back to the person who sent it

2.) share six interesting things about myself

3.) award seven other bloggers with the Gorgeous Blogger Award and

4.) let them know about it.

So... here we go.

1) I am living the life I wrote about living in my grade 2 journal. Yup. We were supposed to write about what we would be when we grew up. I wanted to go to university for 4 years (check... two in engineering, and two in agriculture), I wanted to marry a farmer (yup, living on a dairy farm), and I wanted to be a secretary (and that's what I am... for my husband!). Go figure!

2)I adore video games... more specifically, Zelda. I love the story, the gameplay, etc etc. I recently made costumes (which aren't quite done... I want to cosplay them at an anime convention eventually, which I have yet to go to), which I have been 'planning' since before I got pregnant years ago! Oh, and the game I'm currently playing is the original NES Zelda... the one that started it all! (although I'm using the gamecube 'collector's' disk instead of the NES cartridge. My bro has the NES system.

3) I love cartoons. Disney movies, cartoons on TV... it doesn't matter. My fave movies are The Little Mermaid and Lion King... and... well... I like a lot of the classics. It really depends on my mood.

4) I have a strange red dot on the middle of the bridge of my nose. I've no idea how it got there, or why it decided to hang out for the last few years, but there it sits, plain as the nose on my face (snicker). And make-up will not cover it for long. I tell you, this thing has it in for me.

5) I like all things crafty. Seriously. Paper, scrapbooking, clay (fimo mainly), woodworking, painting, sewing, baking (is that a craft? Sort of, right?), and anything else that turns something plain and boring into a work of art! Really, LOVE it. I want to learn to do more yet! Make jewelry, work with metals, welding... seriously, it all sounds AWESOME!

6) I'm pregnant, and my most reoccurring craving seems to be tomato soup. Yup. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's because I don't like cooked veggies much, need the vitamins and minerals from them, and tomatoes are full of that! Although tomato soup? From the can? Is there really much nutrition left in there? I sure hope so!

Now for the people I want to give this award to...

This is the part I dislike the most... mainly because I want to give it to everyone, and can't choose. I want to say that anyone who wants to receive this award can take it, but that's not as personal, is it?

Lacey at Don't Make Drugs - Seriously, this girl can write! Even her 'sad' posts make me laugh!

Kim at Family, Money, and Stuff - I love reading what she has to say about being a mom, and how God has led her here. It hits home quite often for me.

Beth at I am Heading Towards My Destiny - Beth blogs a lot! There is always something new down at her blogspot, whether on family, prayer, or God in general. I really loved all the autumn cheer around her place this October. The corn maze looked awesome!

Becky at In the Trenches - Becky has a gorgeous family, and I love reading about them! I especially love reading her 'mundane' posts about daily things... I figure I should do more posts like that myself.

Mommy Farmer at The Farmer Files - This girl has gone through a lot this last year! Moving from Hawaii, having a third little Farmer, and making bread on a bicycle... mommy Farmer, I miss your posts!

Amy at Muddy Boots - I always enjoy reading her posts, and her kids are seriously cute. And you should see her Star Wars Party posts! Wow!

Rhonda at One Step Forward - She hasn't posted in a while, but when she does, you know you are in for quite the read. She has been going through some tough times physically, and it's great to read about how she is leaning on God through it all.

For everyone else... you're all Gorgeous Bloggers, and you all deserve the award! So go ahead... if you want it, take it! :)
Edit: For some reason, I either can't post any comments on your blogs, or they won't finish loading. I'll try again later. Otherwise, if you've already read this and I haven't commented about it to you yet, sorry about that!

A Costume Party

This last week I've been spending practically adhered to my sewing machine, attempting to create two costumes that wouldn't fall apart after 1/2 hour of wearing. I succeeded in making Link's tunic, hat, boots (which ended up not being worn), belt bags, and gloves on Thursday. Wednesday I had spent on Zelda's front decorative 'panel'. Tuesday I made Zelda's 'vest' portion of the dress... and bought the dress itself at the MCC for $5. Yesterday... was crazy. I made Zelda's gloves (they were nice and quick... since they were really only armbands and not detailed at all), used craft foam to make all the pieces for the headpiece, neck piece, and belt, made the shoulder armor from card stock, painted it all, and then had the fun time of attempting to assemble it (it was basically taped together... I didn't have time to properly adhere them to each other... I was planning on sewing them or something along those lines). I also had the fun job of revamping the dress to fit my expanding belly. I made loops, sewed them in the back (I can still use the zipper at a later date if I wish) and tied it up. Took 1/2 hour.

Anyway, yesterday we went to a costume party. We had a good time... and I did manage to somewhat finish my costume by then. I also didn't put my third shoulder piece into place. It was made... but I didn't bother putting it on.

Baby M was promptly showed to a friend's room. She was also promptly removed as she was finding all sorts of 'yummy' toys in there... much to the dismay of the other girl.

A family shot. While Baby M still had her costume on. We had to remove it shortly after as she was getting far too hot in it. We all won prizes too! Baby M won 'cutest costume', I won 'best overall costume', and hubby and I tied for 'most creative costume'.
I had some pics of other people, but I didn't know if they'd want them online, so I didn't include them. They had eyeball wrapped chocolates, and they made for some great 'cross-eyed' pics. I don't think I'd have been able to hold those things by my eyes for very long! And there was LOTS of good food. I had to have a little of everything (and of course, Baby M had to have whatever was on mommy's plate too).

One of the party-goers dressed as a good fairy. Baby M loved the light-up wand. It was funny to watch her. She kept bonking into things due to staring at the wand instead of where she was going. Not so funny were the crocodile tears that would start up afterwards.

Just before heading home again, we had to dress her back into her costume (as it was cold outside, and of course that costume was nice and warm). Yes, we had a jacket for her too! :) Both hubby and I had already started removing the more uncomfortable bits of our costumes.
It was a fun time, laughing, conversing, and in general just enjoying each other's company. And did I mention I LOVE dressing up? I think I'm gonna do costume parties for all Baby M's birthdays! :)
So, how was your week?

More Pic Project

Day 148 - Oct 26
Yup... you've seen this one already. Oh well.

Day 149 - Oct 27
Some decor in my house... along with the tree we got from the wedding.

Day 150 - Oct 28
This is all my hard work for today. Yes, that is yarn. No, it is not sewn on. It's glued. I'm not that crazy (although, it was still pretty crazy). I couldn't find any of the 'goopy' fabric paint, so I needed to use what I had. I think it worked out alright.

Day 151 - Oct 29
This is all my hard work for this day... Link's outfit. Yes, that is my husband modelling it for you all. Yes, I sewed the tunic. I found an old sweater of his and cut it, adding the brown bits (to look like bronze chain mail... or maybe leather... not sure yet). I used the sleeves to make the gloves, fabric for the hat, and I even made boot overlays (which you cannot see). Took me all day to sew this stuff.
Yeah, I've been hard at work this week on costumes (I love dressing up!!). My munchkin's was bought, so I had to make mine and my hubby's. His is done now. At least, as much as I'm willing to do right now. He needs his sword and shield, and I may do so if I have time, but we have a party this evening so it's doubtful, since I still have to make my headpiece, belt piece (it's intricate), shoulder armor, gloves, and a few fixes/modifications to the dress. The vest and front panel (see day 150) are done though. Sigh. I wonder how much longer this is all gonna take. If I don't finish it all, that is fine... I can do so later. I want to go to an anime convention eventually, and these costumes were meant for that, but we'll use them for the party. :)

Guilt Free Coffee Cake - Our Weekend Away

Why the strange title? Perhaps this post will help explain.

Weekends away are always such a big deal for me. It's never as easy as 'pack a few things, leave the house, spend some money, come home'. Nope... I have this ability to pack on as much work as I can in the week heading up to the weekend... hopefully to make the return to the house as stress free as possible. And this one was no exception. I did the books (something which hadn't been done for about a month... oops), cleaned the house, hubby helped by doing dishes, I packed everything I could think of (while fitting all of our stuff into ONE suitcase... with room to spare... crazy, I know), cleaned out and re-assembled the diaper bag, made sure I did the laundry as late into the week as I could handle (so we had the most clean clothes at our disposal), etc etc.

Needless to say, I was happy to leave after lunch. And the munchkin was able to get in a little bit of a nap... although not much... on the drive (it's 2 hours... you'd think she would have napped the whole way since there is nothing else for her to do... but no... she had to wake up and cry when we were 1/2 hour from our destination and the only thing that would solve her problem was singing "Old MacDonald"... I began to run out of ideas for things he would have on his farm... and it was a BIG farm!).

I was VERY happy to arrive. And so was she.

Time to play with a compact yet full-of-fun toy I packed along.

We went to eat at Golden Corral... and it was GREAT! They have a wonderful buffet. If you didn't know, this restaurant IS a buffet restaurant, and the food is wonderful. They even have STEAK which they grill right before your eyes! I like the salad selections, and there are many desserts to choose from too (although I was full by that time). Lots of shrimp on my plate. Baby M enjoyed it too.

Our hotel room... after Baby M started playing, ha ha.

The next morning, a wonderful continental breakfast awaited us. Baby M was only too happy to walk down the hall with Daddy. I was glad to see her enjoying just about everything I had on my plate. I think she ate almost as much as I did! Yogurt was her fave, of course.

We headed a bit further south to Fargo... something I didn't really want to have to do, but with the farm needing a few items from Fleet Farm, and there being a number of stores there that I was sure we'd find interesting, that is where we went. Baby M napped the whole way there AND back.

There was a nice big play area in the mall for her to play in. Unfortunately, there were a LOT of kids too, and she was so small she actually got knocked over a few times. We didn't stick around there long.

I ended up finding a pair of pants and two long sleeve shirts at Gordman's (Motherhood Maternity brand) for $60... which is good since all my current stuff (besides my pants) are summer things. I also got to look around Hobby Lobby a bit... but hubby wanted me in and out of there in 15 minutes since he had to stay in the vehicle with baby M, as she fell asleep on the way. Sigh. 15 minutes isn't NEARLY enough. I needed at LEAST 2 hours. Ah well.

We got to swim in the pool at the hotel after supper, and they have a lovely kids wading pool with a polar bear slide. Baby M didn't care for it at first, since it was a bit cooler than she liked, and she clung to me like crazy. The floor was textured, great for little kids! However, I think she is still a bit too young to be in there, and it was really uncomfortable for us adults.

So, we headed to the big pool.

Why is this pic sideways? To throw us off I guess. To be honest I do not know, and I do not wish to fix it. Too bad, we'll all have to tilt our heads. :)
Sunday morning we went to the mall after breakfast to walk around a bit and let Baby M play in the play area by herself. It was great. She seemed to really enjoy herself, and when another baby boy a month older than her came as well, she was thrilled. Two other kids came, and we played a little longer before heading out to lunch.

Sitting on a 'rock' with her zebra.
Couldn't leave out the ladybug!

Climbing the bridge slide.

We went shopping a bit more after that. Target had the cutest little bows for girls that I couldn't resist. I also couldn't decide between the head bands and the clips... so I got both. Yippee! Things for her hair!

Oh... and she decided that daddy needed help pushing the cart!

We had a great time, spent a bit of money (I got another shirt from Walmart, and a scrapbooking tool from target too), and had no complaining from the back seat all the way home (even though she didn't nap). And the reason why I go crazy when about to leave on a trip? It takes 15 minutes to get everything back to normal once we arrive back. No joke. No dirty dishes. Nothing. Just bed and sleep.

Oh... and this is the shirt from Walmart. Isn't it neat? I think it was the only maternity item they had in the store (which bites). Ah well. Notice the bows too? I LOVE those colors. When I get pregnant, it's ALL about the BRIGHT and BOLD colors for some odd reason.

Anyway, that was our weekend in a nutshell. Sigh. I love being home, but sometimes I wish weekends would last a bit longer. Well, next weekend is a Halloween party we've been invited to (all kids are to be there too, of course) and since she has a costume already, I just have to come up with something for Hubby and me. I'll be sure to post pics when I have it.
Now I should really go and bake those choc chip whole wheat oatmeal cookies I've been craving...

Pics in a Post

Day 144 - Oct 22
One of Baby M's favorite things... my socks. Especially my cow socks. Why, I don't know.

Day 145 - Oct 23
Here you go... a pregnancy shot of me at 13 weeks. I'm a LOT bigger than I was at 13 weeks with Baby M... or at least I think so. Yeah... I don't look thrilled. It was evening, I was tired and hungry, and at the same time not hungry... and my belly seems to explode by evening (it is considerably 'less large' in the mornings...)

Day 146 - Oct 24
I have two pics for this day... because I couldn't decide. I took a LOT of pics. Well, OK, not as much as other trips, but considerably more than I do on a normal day. I love the above pic because... it's just so cute. Baby M wanted to walk EVERYWHERE!

I just had to include this one because ... seriously... an upside down Christmas tree? Can you say AWESOME! Ha ha ha. Yeah... I'm into Christmas already.

Day 147 - Oct 25
The above (and below) pics were taken in the morning at the play area in the mall near where we stayed (since everything was closed, but the mall was open to walk around). It was nice. We had it to ourselves for about 15 minutes and Baby M was able to roam freely. Some others joined us later, and she loved it.

This little guy goes everywhere with us. It's small, fits in the diaper bag nicely, and is just the perfect size for Baby M to cuddle when she needs it. It also sings. Lovely for road trips. No joke. So, he needed his own portrait.
And that's it for now, folks. Pics of the trip to follow...

When Cream Turns Sour, Make Coffee Cake!

Well... I should be doing bookwork now that the kiddo is napping... but I DON'T WANNA! I managed to do some of it... that's good enough, right? I just HATE registering calves for some reason. Finalizing the third quarter and sending in the GST return for the farm is OK... and now done... but calf registrations... blech.

ANYWAY...

My title? Strange? Yup, I think so too. I figured this post would be rather random, so why not the title too? That and it reminds me that I need to bake again. Plus, I much prefer coffee cake to lemonade (and I think I prefer lemons to lemonade too, ha ha).

This has been one busy week month. I mean... craziness. The wedding last weekend (three days of busy), daily things to do that keep me on my toes, and the need for naps. No joke. I find it quite strange myself.

Last year at this time it was all about doing my own fun projects (and taking care of Baby M of course). I had Christmas half planned out already, had a 'schedule' for my weeks (Tuesday do laundry and housecleaning, Wednesday was farm books, Thursday was baking... etc), and I only had Thursday evenings during the week where we would actually go somewhere (I don't count weekends because those change all the time). Not this year. Not this MONTH. The last number of Mondays have been appointments/card club (which is fun) or something in town. Tuesdays I'm frantically trying to get the house cleaned (in between naps since I'm SO tired), while in the evening I have a scrapbooking thing I'm part of (which I keep forgetting to go to... sorry girls!). Wednesday mornings I get my daughter ready for her swim lessons and usually pick up a few things that we may need for the week. Thursday evenings we still get together for dinners with our group of friends. Fridays (every other Friday anyway) we have Bible Study. Can you say... CRAZY!? I'm not used to this... I'm usually kind of a recluse. Granted, it's nice to get out, but I have been neglecting the things I'm supposed to do at home (like farm books... I keep procrastinating on that and only finished third quarter and the GST return today... I would normally have had that done 2 weeks earlier). And this last weekend seemed to conk me out completely. I haven't been able to go one day without a nap (or maybe two... seriously). My personal books are completely behind (by at LEAST a month... I used to work on those every Friday... not sure what happened there), and my house... let's just say it's not insane looking, but I'm not picking up after things or doing dishes as often as I used to.

I guess I should just admit it... I'm TIRED.

Usually by this time of year I have all my Christmas gifts planned and half started (some even finished and boxed/ready to wrap). I've done NOTHING so far. Nothing. Instead, I'd rather nap. I haven't baked anything in weeks. Nope... rather nap. And as for making meals... I do some of it but please don't force me to work with raw hamburger. I will force myself to skin the chicken (although I prefer working with skinless, ha ha) but NOT hamburger... I can... I will if I HAVE to... but please! So... I usually end up making the 'side' or the veggie, and hubby makes the meat (if it is something that can be made within 15-20 minutes... otherwise I force myself to do it). No, my morning sickness is pretty much gone (or in my case, evening sickness as breakfast has been fine and it's lunch and supper that are the problems), but I have many food aversions... especially to the raw meat and cooked veggies (weird...).

All that aside, I can hardly believe how much my munchkin is going. Yes... going. She can sure book it on her feet now. It took one week. Really. Last week she preferred crawling to walking, even though we knew she could walk, and now she prefers walking. Probably because I won't let her out of the cart in the stores if she is going to crawl. She hates being confined. So, I let her out, she walks (always staying nearby too... she's very well behaved), and she's thrilled to pieces. The second she starts to crawl, I pick her up and put her in the cart (no reason to have dirty knees, right?). So... walking it is!

Pregnancy is going well. Not much to report aside from my expanding belly and food aversions. No cravings really (didn't have much with my other pregnancies either), no major issues (besides being super tired and having slight muscle pains... all normal), just pregnancy. Oh, and apparently my expanding waistline is great for climbing on... according to Baby M... NOT according to my tummy (smile). I should post a pregnancy pic soon. One for entering the second trimester. I KNOW I'm bigger now than I was at this stage with Baby M. I've already pulled out my maternity pants.

As for Coffee Cake... stress turns cream sour, and my husband knows how to make it better (see the link to my title? See it? I'm so proud... even though it probably still doesn't make much sense, ha ha). We're heading across the border this weekend. That means I have to pack, get the house in shape for me to come back to stress free, and then AWAY we GO! So happy! It's been a long time since we've been able to spend some quality time together. And I love staying at hotels... I don't have to cook, or clean, or ANYTHING! We can go shopping and watch Baby M play in the play areas at the malls, swim, and just enjoy ourselves. Awesome coffee cake, no? And the stress relief will help me battle the next couple of months until Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas... I think I'll spend some of that driving time planning for it.

Stress relief and Coffee Cake, here I come!

More Pics

Sorry to all my blogging buddies, but blogger is not allowing me to comment on your pages today for some odd reason. Some it works, but anyone with a pop up comment page (which I love, btw) is not working for some reason. It never stops loading.

Anyway, on to pics. And believe me... I'm sure to be posting more of these wedding photos eventually. Probably on facebook.

Day 138 - Oct 16
Decorating the hall. There is a harvest theme going on in this wedding, and it is gorgeous.

A second pic of the decor.

Day 139 - Oct 17
The wedding day! All dressed up and ready to go! Baby M was so upset that she hadn't seen me all night (she spent the night at her grandparent's house) and was so happy to see me at the ceremony. Then she got REALLY clingy at the reception (a number of hours later) since she wasn't with me and only with daddy. She wouldn't let me give her back to dad for any of the stuff I was supposed to be helping with.

My dress was getting REALLY tight by the end of the evening. Seriously. It would have been a bit loose on me if I wasn't pregnant, but I popped out about an inch or so in my abdomen and hips the second I got pregnant, and it fit better a week earlier... I'm sure I'm showing more now than I was at my fitting. I was sucking it in all day... and it didn't leave me feeling very well after all that. Ah well... it was SO worth it. (my stomach seems to grow a bit from the morning to the evening... I think my muscles get tired... ha ha)

Day 140 - Oct 18
Baby M enjoying the new car seat Hubby bought her while waiting between the ceremony and reception the day before. Now we can put the little one away until the new baby is born, and Baby M can grow into this one a bit more. She is the smallest size this thing allows. Seriously.
She really enjoyed playing with this thing though! She kept going in and out of it, putting her plush cow in it, then her sippy cup (it has a cup holder too), then taking them out and climbing in herself. Hilarious.

Pics and Things

Ok... not really any 'things', I'm just getting sick of having the same title all the time.

Day 136 - Oct 14
Baby M after a swim. She's getting a bit better with swim lessons now.

Day 137 - Oct 15
The chandelier in the church sanctuary where the wedding is going to be. We had rehearsal, and I couldn't help but take some photos after it was all done. That is one beautiful building.

Oopsie

Well... I have a bit of a confession to make.

My day 90 photo that I posted for project 365 was actually not the right picture.

Oopsie.

Nope... it was a decoy...

Instead...
THIS is my project 365 photo for August 29th...

How do you like THEM apples? :)

Wonder Why Wednesday

I'm gonna try this. I'm linking over to Gaerte Gang's blog.

You ever wonder what happens to our brains (as women) when we have children? I don't think any more, I don't ponder things like I used to... I just settle into the routine of changing diapers, making food, cleaning spills and more dirty bums (and clothes to boot), and revel in those naps that she takes (so maybe I can sneak one in as well... or work my butt off on the books or the cleaning or the laundry). No more researching, nothing. What happened? Is there a switch in my brain that literally gets turned off for the first few years after baby is born... or maybe sometime while we are pregnant with them? Why can't I find it and turn it back on? Or did the wires get re-routed instead?

Now I'm leaving myself wondering why I'm metaphorically referring to my brain as some type of electrical apparatus... too much time on the computer, methinks.

More Project 365 Fun

Day 134- Oct 12
My sister giving me a silly smile (?). Don't you just love her fairy makeup? I know I do! :)

Day 135 - Oct 13
I went for a bit of a walk with Baby M around the farm, and I thought, of all the pictures I took (and there were a few) that this was my fave. I love trees. This one is actually dead... most of our trees still have green leaves (believe it or not), but it looked so nice seeing the branches and the sun behind them...

Oh, and not really a project photo, I just had to post this one anyway. Isn't she cute? My lil pumpkin patch! :)

Yeah, we have a slew of these things. I'd say hundreds. Mostly green. The killing frost came before they all had the chance to ripen fully. Still look nice in the house and on the porch though!

It's the Photo Update... again!

Day 130 - Oct 8
Baby M playing with a cow... that has a flashlight in it's mouth. Hilarious, actually.

Day 131 - Oct 9
An early snowfall. I love the white stuff. It melted the next day (not completely, but mostly anyway). Isn't a fresh layer of snow so pretty? I found it funny that my flowers are still flowers, and my trees still have plenty of green leaves. I have a picture of snow on green leaves too. Interesting to say the least!

Day 132 - Oct 10
Trying on my dress one last time to take home... and Baby M is having so much fun with her 3 new friends (giggle).

Day 133 - Oct 11
I've got 2 pics today, cause I couldn't just pick one. Here is a little snowman my sister made with Niece A. So cute, ha ha. Yeah, it snowed suddenly on Sunday once again, covering the ground, the cars, everything. :)
The next pic is of Baby M in her 3-6 month snowsuit (don't worry, I bought a bigger one for her for later in the year). She is so small! It's terribly cute seeing her stand in that thing!

Awards...

This is a step off the normal path for me... really.

I heard today that Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize.

I am disappointed.

I don't usually keep track of any of this stuff. Really. Politics don't really interest me, especially those in other nations... there's enough drama up here to keep me busy enough. But to hear that this Nobel Peace Prize went to Obama... I'm shocked. I find it slightly absurd.

I've seen much in the last few weeks about the praises of Obama. Children singing Obama's praises to "Jesus Loves the Little Children" being one of the things that literally made me want to hurl, among many others. Meanwhile, I haven't heard of anything that Obama has actually done that is worth all this praise. You'd think that sort of thing would make it's way up here, since we are neighbors to the USA and all that. Sure, he's charismatic, and that seems to get people going so much lately. Trudeau was charismatic too... the people loved him... until they saw what was actually happening (fuel prices and crazy increases in taxes, anyone?). I don't see many people in my area liking him much anymore. Anyway... off topic... where was I?

Basically, there are a lot of things Obama stands for that I do not. Many things that go against every fiber of my being (like abortion for one... we'll leave it at that) are things that he seems to be 'for'. There are enough problems up here with the liberality of things (absolutely no restrictions/laws regarding abortion... to keep with our example) that don't need to be happening to our neighbors. I wish someone at least would learn from Canada's mistakes (although Canada didn't exactly learn from the mistakes of other countries in regards to other things... but that's another topic).

In all, I'm just shocked and disappointed by the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize winner. I believe it was really too soon to be putting the new president into that placement. Really. Many may disagree with me... that's OK. This is my honest opinion. You can have yours. I won't hate you for it... after all, many people obviously voted for him to receive that honour, right? I still think it was mostly because of timing (didn't the voting end only a few weeks after his inauguration? He would have been on the forefront of many thoughts at that time). Anyway... just my opinion.

For all my followers, thanks for putting up with my lack of posting anything but my project 365 stuff over the last while. I must say, things have been busy, and until next weekend is over I feel I will still be super busy (I'm part of a wedding that is next weekend), so bear with me... and thanks for bearing with me. :) My daughter is being super cuddly today, and I really want to bundle us up to go for a short walk before her nap, so that's all for now, folks!

Have a great Friday, everyone!

Another Project 365 update.

I don't seem to be doing much on here lately except project 365 updates. Life has been busy, I just haven't taken the time to write about it. Sigh. I'll update eventually... I hope.

Day 125 - Oct 3
Baby M thinks baskets are fantastic play things. Wonder why?

Day 126 - Oct 4
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera this day. It was church, so we were away from home all day. I took a pic with someone else's camera, and haven't been able to get it yet... my husband also has one on his camera phone and I'm just too lazy to get it off right now. I'll post this one later... hopefully...
Day 127 - Oct 5
Baby M, sleeping after a long day in town... appointments apparently are tiring... and they weren't even for her!

Day 128 - Oct 6
The highway... this pic was taken during a 'bump' which made the lights go all funny... and ended up being my fave because of it.

Day 129 - Oct 7
Baby M after going through Dollarama. She was so cute, wanting to grab the shiniest items in the store. I got a bag of Teddy Grahams (well, a lesser named version of them) and here she is enjoying one... the head is gone already. Funny thing, she clung to that bag of teddy cookies after I grabbed it and gave it to her. It was hilarious.
Wednesdays are now the days we go to the pool. Baby M is a Starfish... in swim lessons for 6-18 month babies. It's a lot of fun. I enjoy it more than she does right now though. She doesn't like the cool water (it's not that cold, but she's always preferred warmer baths too). I have yet to take a pic of us there. It's just not easy.
