I just found out I can put a calendar on my blog! At the very bottom of my blogspace there is a spot designated for my 30-boxes calendar. 30-boxes is free and rather easy to understand and enter. For birthdays it will ask automatically if you wish to repeat the item each year, so you only enter it once, and it will repeat yearly for you. And, if you know the year of birth, it will show how old the person is turning as well (for your eyes only). You can put some items in, set to private, and it will not be viewable by anyone but yourself.
Anyway, I added a number of things to mine, including birthdays, the last day of my 101 in 1001, my due date, some festivals and fairs in the area, etc. It's nice to be able to see what is happening in the area in the near future, and summer is always so full of fun things to do.
Well, that's my blurb on 30-boxes. By the way, you can add it to your facebook account as well, and it will automatically add in any events you join on facebook, as well as showing pictures you added to your photos area. It was supposed to be able to add birthdays directly from your friends profiles, but I never did get that to work properly.
