#11 - Go Camping with Another Couple

We went camping this last weekend with my family, something that we haven't done for 5 years. It was a lot of fun. My parents, my sister, and my brother and his wife and Avae and us. Avae had a great time. It was fun to watch her.

We went for a short bike ride together to visit my aunt in their seasonal campsite. She took the pic.

Avae loved the sand at the beach. She couldn't get enough of it... even tried eating it at one point. It was hilarious.

I played my first game of Kanasta (is that how you spell it). Roxy and I won. I would actually consider playing this game again.

Avae's first experience with a pony. She just loves anything with fur! The pony didn't care she was even there.

Oh, and Avae loved the taste of ice cream she was allowed to taste... and boy did she want more!

It was a fun weekend, but I have to say it's always nice to be home again. Prepping everything to go and then unpacking later is never my fave. However, it's nice when you are able to work everything so it only takes half an hour once we arrive home to get everything unpacked and put away.

That's a rundown of our camping and our weekend. I hope you all had a great weekend as well. This will have been my last camping trip this year. I hope we'll be able to have fun with our little one next year camping like RJ, Esther, and Avae. :)
