So, on friday we got the rug in the baby room and part of the hallway, so today I was able to put up the casings around the window in the baby room and all the door casings! Things are looking more and more finished! I'm so happy!
I'm trying to upload the pic of the baby bedding we bought on saturday, but unfortunetly the site seems to have trouble uploading the pic right now, so it'll have to wait. Anyway, it's called "Ladybugs" from Toys R Us. I got the 3 piece set with the bumper pads, comforter, and sheet, and also got a dust ruffle right away. They have various other items with that theme I'd love to get, so I put them on my registry, which we also did on Saturday. It was fun looking at all the baby things! I don't think half of the stuff is needed though, (smile). It's still fun to look at!
On another note, we did manage to get time off due to rain, and went over the border for the night. It's nice and cheap during the week. We looked at all sorts of strollers and car seats, and started researching the ones we liked best online for consumer ratings and such. I think we like the Graco Passage the best right now as it's small enough to fit in our trunk (the quattro is too big and has so many extras we really don't need). Only thing I have trouble with is the tires. We'll need bigger tires if we want to be using it on gravel at all. Any suggestions? Anyway, we also bought a blind for our dining room finally, and so now I can eat without being blinded by the sun (smile). It was cheap too! $50 for a 72" wide roman blind! We couldn't find anything that size here, and to custom make it... far too expensive.
Well, baby is kicking excessively again! My tummy looks like an earthquake right now (smile again)! I guess he/she liked dessert (berries and vanilla pudding... mmm)! Have a great evening!
Edit: Thanks to all who phoned and commented on the stroller/carseats issue. We are planning on purchasing in Canada, as we cannot purchase them in the USA due to difference in restrictions/child safety over the border. Again, thanks for your concerns! (smile)
