Day 19 - June 19, FridayHere's a pic of Baby M during... a cranky moment. Note the funny face? She's been making that one a lot lately. I think it's cute, even if her eyes are red!
Day 20 - June 20, SaturdayWe went to the Summer in the City Festival, and I thought this little stand was adorable! There was so much there! Hubby went to get mini doughnuts... and then saw the price. Blech. But we had Slurpee's... mmmm. First Slurpee in... 1 or 2 years?
Father's day. Unfortunately, nothing was planned. The women all wanted to do something, and the men... well, one of the men didn't. The other burnt himself crispy the day before, and so couldn't. And my hubby? Let's just say there was a communication gap. I wish things could have happened a bit better and we ALL could have gone to the beach. The women were adamant, we were NOT sitting in the house all day doing squat. So, we went to the beach with the kiddos, and they had a blast in the sand! Baby M had her first taste (literally) of sand that day, and after washing her off, and her mouth out, she had her first taste of Cheerios too. Mmmm.
Day 22 - June 22, Monday
I got a LOT of yard work done, and a friend of ours came down to chop and rip out some rather lifeless trees. This is the front of our house... there were once two rather ugly trees framing the bay window... and taking out the eaves trough and such as well. They had nice flowers in spring, but that was ALL they had going for them. So, now they are gone. As well as a few bushes that were half dead that were choking out the lovely lilac bush you see there. And the few greens in front of the bay window are getting ripped out as well. They are all gnarled looking and most of their roots are showing and bare... I'm surprised there IS any green to them. A fresh slate...

Today was housecleaning day, as usual, and I decided to finally update our bed. So, hence the photo. I'll show a before and after later in another post.

Your bed is very pretty! The blue and white pillows remind me of the Argentine flag.
(I'm married to an Argentine, so that's a good thing. ;)
Oh I LOVE your bed! That turned out great!
And I love the ladybugs on Sweet baby;)
The front of your house looks great now that you've gotten some of the plants removed. I can't wait to see what you end up replacing them with!
And the bed is awesome too! Very pretty!
