101 Update

It took awhile for me to finally do this. I'm not sure why. Anyway, my last update was June, and I did write something for last weekend, so I won't cover those items.

#30: Bring Baked Goods to Someone (1/5)
I changed this one from bringing to church for morning fellowship, as they are no longer doing snacks for that, and so I wouldn't be able to accomplish that goal. Anyway, I figured I'd include a photo, too. I baked bran muffins for my sister in law, and brought them to her the day she got back from the hospital after having Baby R. He's such a sweetie. I figured I'd make a 'nighttime emergency pack' (ha ha) for her right away, and included 'night time snacks' or bran muffins, some Epsom salts, a granola bar (for on the go snackage), and two night time tea bags. It's not much, but she loved it.

#40: Finish Wedding Scrapbook
I know, I already posted on that one, but I'm just so happy it is done!

#64: Remove Dead trees from yard
This one is started. I've been pruning away for awhile, and a friend of ours came down and has been helping rip out trees that are choking out other much nicer trees, and now we have only a few left to remove (we got rid of some by the house that were ripping the roofing to shreds).

#67: Re-varnish/stain deck
This one is a pain. I started on it. I pressure washed the house, and did the deck right away, then proceeded to start staining it when the rain came down (while the sun was still shining no less.. did I mention we've been having weird weather lately?). So, I re washed off the bubbling stain as much as I could and now I'm waiting for a day where the sun will shine. Still waiting. It's been 1.5 weeks!

#97: Read 5 new books (2/5)
I was borrowed a couple of books that I intend to read shortly. One I talked about in a previous post... Your Drug May Be Your Problem, and the other one is called Emotional Phases of a Woman's Life (by Jean Lush). I'm looking forward to all I will learn with these two books about the mayhem that has been my emotional state these last few months. Once done, I'll have 4/5 finished.

#99: Go to the Library
I have no idea what day I did this on anymore, but I visited the Library in town in June sometime with the munchkin. It's got so much going on there that I don't think I'd be able to sit back and relax with a book inside... it's just too full. It used to be a lot less cramped. Ah well, more books, right? I may get a membership there once Baby M is older and able to appreciate books a little more than how they taste... and the sound they make when they hit the floor.

#100. Get a Massage
This one is looking more and more tempting as time goes on. Why is making an appointment so hard?

Anyway, that's all for my update. 47 down, 54 to go, and 556 days left. Still 1 every 10 days. Hmm, not bad!

Ha, great list. I love what you made for your SIL. That was very sweet of you!

My daughter LOVES to go to the library. We check out a few books a week. More than the books, she enjoys the kid sized computers. She will be 4 this month and is thrilled to have finally been given a chance (my fault) to have learned how to maneuver a mouse. I guess it had to happen sometime. Ha.

Have a great day and thanks for all of your sweet comments!
