This is all my hard work for today. Yes, that is yarn. No, it is not sewn on. It's glued. I'm not that crazy (although, it was still pretty crazy). I couldn't find any of the 'goopy' fabric paint, so I needed to use what I had. I think it worked out alright.

Day 151 - Oct 29

This is all my hard work for this day... Link's outfit. Yes, that is my husband modelling it for you all. Yes, I sewed the tunic. I found an old sweater of his and cut it, adding the brown bits (to look like bronze chain mail... or maybe leather... not sure yet). I used the sleeves to make the gloves, fabric for the hat, and I even made boot overlays (which you cannot see). Took me all day to sew this stuff.

Yeah, I've been hard at work this week on costumes (I love dressing up!!). My munchkin's was bought, so I had to make mine and my hubby's. His is done now. At least, as much as I'm willing to do right now. He needs his sword and shield, and I may do so if I have time, but we have a party this evening so it's doubtful, since I still have to make my headpiece, belt piece (it's intricate), shoulder armor, gloves, and a few fixes/modifications to the dress. The vest and front panel (see day 150) are done though. Sigh. I wonder how much longer this is all gonna take. If I don't finish it all, that is fine... I can do so later. I want to go to an anime convention eventually, and these costumes were meant for that, but we'll use them for the party. :)
