A Mix... Project 365 and The Last Two Days

Day 156 - Nov 3
I babysat for my brother and sister-in-law and had their two munchkins for a couple of hours. Here is Niece A (close to 23 months) sitting with Baby M (13 months). Nephew R (3 months) was content to lay down and stare at whatever was in front of him. :)
Notice the age sandwich?

Anyway, now I know why a lot of people choose to have years in between children instead of getting pregnant right after popping one out. It is too insane! It was fun for those two hours, but I would not be able to do it for terribly long!

'A' was so excited to be over that she would scream and scream, which woke 'R', and 'M' would just chase after 'A', wanting to play. 'A' would find a toy, then want the toy 'M' had (which is normal for kids apparently) and take it, and 'M' would just sit there, wondering what happened. Then M would want to play with what A had, and since A is older, she'd grab the toy and take off. M started thinking this was a sort of game. At first she had a rather confused look on her face, but after awhile the two were running all over the floor squealing and laughing. R would just lay there, smiling whenever someone gave him any form of attention... M wanted to climb into his carseat at one point... with him in it... (she'd lift her leg to put it in, and I'd put it down on the floor... and it would happen again...). Then all three seemed to poop at the same time!

Then there were the stairs. Stairs are fun, apparently... at least until someone falls head first into the floor. Poor M did that (they were only on the second step). She was fine, shocked a bit, cried, but in the end there was little more than a bruise (a small one at that) on her cheek and a bit of blood in her nose (which hubby only found when cleaning her nose after her bath). I think they were all getting tired at that point (I had left the stairs momentarily to get R, who started crying due to being tired... he fell asleep on my shoulder). A ended up laying down on the couch after my husband put M to bed. She liked all the pillows.

Anyway... that was quite the evening! Fun... but I would not have been able to do it without my husband there! I don't have enough arms.

Day 157 - Nov 4
A sunset at 5:30pm. A tad early, I must say! Oh, and as for all that snow I have in previous pics? None anymore! In fact, the grass is still green and a few trees still have some green leaves on them. Go figure.

Today was swim lesson again. I'm so proud of my little girl! Today was the first time we went completely underwater, and she didn't even complain! I was so concerned (because I know I don't care for it much myself), but she was doing well this time (giggling a bit here and there and not crying like she did the first few times). She's been getting more and more used to the pool, and I'm so proud!

Well, there you go. Two days of 'stuff' and project photos.

It would be a handleful to have 3 so close together like that...wouldn't it!

My Goodness...I needed a big break in between EACH child. I got to enjoy each one a little more too I think:)

I don't know how parents with multiples (twins, triplets, etc) do it. It would be so tiring!

That sunset is beautiful, Sab!

What a beautiful photo!

I guess the only good thing about having kids that close in age would be going through the diaper phase at the same time, training, then diaper free.

They sure are cute!
