First, I'll show my favorite pic... you can see the little one is sucking their thumb. Awww!
I never got a profile view of Baby M's face... just the front. And we couldn't get a front view of this little guy.
It took over 2 hours of shifting, laying on one side and the other, trying to get the baby to move UP. This one is just as low as my firstborn. Head down, just like she was. And squirmy as anything. The technician would go to take a pic and the baby would move just as he did so... See below... baby looks like it thinks my uterus is a punching bag.
We did get all the photos, thank goodness. The tech thinks I may need to go in again because he needed the front face shot and didn't get any good ones, but I hope I don't have to. Really. I hate waiting in hospitals. I was there that day from 1:30pm till 4:30pm. I had blood tests to do after the ultrasound... which is why we were there even later. My husband was called in at around 3:30, and then the baby moved so we could get the shots of the skull that were needed... and a few front face shots (which are impossible for me to decipher). Probably heard daddy and big sis and wanted to 'see' them, ha ha. Half an hour later and I was being registered for blood tests... which thankfully didn't take too long, and thankfully I didn't faint (another 6-7 vials... I didn't look and didn't ask, but I could tell from the paper and all those check marks in all those categories...).Anyway...
The heart rate was good, the blood flow was good, everything looked great, the baby squirmed and kicked and I could feel him/her attack the spot the ultrasound technician was trying to look from...

They are there, I have them, but you can't really see them as well as you could with my daughter. However, we got a good shot of the hand. You think the little one is waving to us?

Sabrina, we talked about this, remember. Remember how we were going to FIND out so BECKY could KNOW?!?!?!
{{BIG sigh}}
I guess I will have to wait with the rest of you, but I am not happy with the turn of events...
:) I'm so happy though the little one is happy and health and waving!
What treasured images of your unborn loved one! The excitement and anticipation is building!
TWO HOURS - wow!!! And I thought it took a while at my last ultrasound!
Glad things are going well. :) We decided to keep the gender of our baby a surprise too.
I am so excited I can barely even TAKE IT! I can't believe you want to be surprised. I am MUCH too much of a planner to EVER be surprised by ANYTHING... rather lone a BABY!
Eeeeeeee! (I'm jumping up and down right now... EEEEEEEEEEE!!!)
I WISH WISH WISH I could be strong like you and hold out to find out what I was having...but I found out each and every time!
AWWW.... Sabrina, somehow I must of missed your comment from 1/10. I don't know how I missed it till today when someone new had commented on older posts.
I Do the SAME THING! cry, pray, and swear the next day will be a fresh start, and then I easily fall back into my mean ways and moody self.
Thanks for your sweet comment... and at least we are aware of our difficulities and praying to the right Guy :) You're right...the support of others will help too!
Okay, I so cannot decipher anything in those photos, lol! Glad you're having a healthy pregnancy though :)
