This is how she likes to spend her time... wearing mittens all over the house, and cloths and things on her head.
Day 276 - March 4
We went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, and we had to visit daddy while he worked!
Day 277 - March 5
My new course materials, and the cake caddy my hubby got me on a half price sale at Walmart while he went on his distillers run. $10... I'm thrilled!

I FINALLY started sewing! Finally! And I did two of the three blankets now. The blue one is a single layer of fleece (I double folded the edges under and ironed them before sewing... of course I did a zigzag on the raw edges first... hence the double fold so you don't see it). The green is the one side of the two sided blanket, and the mottled fabric is the other side. I zigzagged that together, then stitched a proper stitch with a half-inch seam allowance, turned it inside right and ironed it, then made one more stitch about a half inch from the edge to give it a trim look. It was a lot of sewing, but so worth it!

You're so ambitious, Sab! I'm still having a tough time over here, sigh. The blankets are going to turn out so wonderful!
