Nesting Paranoia

Did you miss me? No, no baby yet. We're still waiting. I guess he/she finds it comfy for now :)

How did you do last week? I managed to get everything done except making mother's day gifts. I don't know why that's so hard this year. Perhaps it's because I have something in mind and I don't know if I'll get around to it. I'm sure our mom's won't mind if they get their gift a bit late, though (*smile*).

This week's list is a doozy... again... because it's Kitchen week (and I threw in the office for good measure, as if I don't need more to do anyway, ha ha).

Our challenge for the week is to clean something we normally wouldn't. Some ideas to help you get started would be: washing garbage cans, wiping out/organizing the pantry, cleaning the freezer, organizing/wiping bookshelves, the computer/mouse/keyboard, kitchen drying board, any counter top appliances, any decorative knickknacks... etc

To Do - May 2-8 (focus; Kitchen and Office)

  • sweep
  • vacuum
  • mop
  • bathrooms
  • laundry
  • exercise (did Sun,Tues,)
  • farm books
  • personal books
  • meal plan
  • shine sink, clean microwave (include fan vents), fridge, counters/cabinets, stove, toaster, drying board
  • dust (kitchen and office)
  • clean toy organizer in the office
  • baseboards
  • clean decorative kitchen bowl
  • clean/org pantry
  • clean/wipe fridge freezer
  • wash kitchen garbage can (wait till garbage day)
  • scrapbook
  • Dr Appointment Friday (M's needles)
  • mother's day gifts
  • prep preg album pics for printing (that's a lot of 'p's, ha ha)
  • try knitting 3+ days this week (did Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed,)

I'm so happy with how much I got done on my list today already. My husband had some farm errands to run this morning and he took M with him (she had a ball! Got to run around a bit at the mall and some of the other places he went, which made it a lot easier to put her down for her nap just now as well). That meant I had the whole house to myself and did not have to worry about anyone getting in my way as I cleaned. And boy, did I clean... for 2.5 hours straight! Yes... I'm a bit tired now! I did laundry too, just not all of it (2 out of 3 loads ain't bad...). I'm thinking of finishing up the last two mundane tasks that I can today (bookwork), and then I'll be happy happy happy! Although I am happy already...

I was kinda hoping all this cleaning would put me into labor... ha ha... although exercising for 40 minutes yesterday didn't put me into labor either. Why am I wanting to go into labor so bad this time? Hmm... I wasn't this anxious with M... I went 5 days over with her and was perfectly fine with going even farther if it would have been that way. I'm only 4 days over right now...

Hope you all have a great week!
