Challenge for Challenges

Well, I met my challenge in scrapbooking this month. I challenged myself to enter into all the challenges on ivyscraps.com, and I did! Here is the final pic I loaded yesturday.

This was entered into the Heritage challenge... we were to scrap a tradition. This was the only one I could think of... haha.

The other challenge I gave myself was to scrap at least 5 pages a week (trying to do one month's worth of pages each week... I need to catch up somehow), and I've been managing to do that as well! Mostly just managing 5/week... but this week I've already done 7. Mostly because I can't do much demolition work in the office... it's impossible to do with the kiddos around (don't want to be swinging a sledgehammer in the same room with the kiddos, and Bram won't let me leave the room), and when they are down for naps, the noise wakes our son. Ah well. Perhaps I'll be able to do a bit today. I did take down all the baseboards and the door trim, and I want to remove the drywall around the current door and on the place we are putting the new doorway. Plus, the weather has been cold/stormy lately... so it's just not convenient to get out of the house with two young children. Difficult at best. I did get out on Wednesday, but I think that is it.

Anyway, have a great weekend, everyone!

I'm so impressed!!! Are you doing digital scrapbooking? I've always been intimidated by it but love the look of many of the digital pages I have seen!

Yes, I'm doing digital. I do traditional as well, but just for specific books. The 'day to day' stuff is digital (it's easier, as I don't have to worry about my kiddos getting into stamps/paper/etc). I use Storybook Creator 3.0 plus.

Can I ask a really stupid question? Do you print off the digital pages or are they just for displaying on screen? If you print them, do you have a special printer that prints 12 by 12 pages or do you print a different size?
Sorry for all the questions but I am really interested!

Well, I haven't printed any yet. The plan is to finish my 99 page book (it's basically done, I just need to go over all the pages and fine tune them) and then have it printed up as a photobook. Takes up way less space that way, and in the end it's cheaper. For a 99 page book, that is. It will still run me anywhere from $150 to $300, depending on where I print it and if I can get it done during a sale time or not. You can print them up page by page, but I don't have a printer capable of 12x12.
