I love these days, the ones where I manage to get a whole lot of stuff done! I'm sure you love those days too. I feel as though I've accomplished something, as though my day was worth it.
I LOVE making lists, so I decided to start doing so again. The difference in my day is astounding. There's just something about ticking off each of those little tasks as I finish them... I absolutely love it!
Chuck and I decided to go on a television and movie fast that started Tuesday, and we were thinking of doing it for only a week, but I think it would be nice to stretch it further... especially since this week has actually been pretty busy in the evenings for us, so we really haven't spent much evening time together. Plus, I don't have that distraction during the day.
This morning I got up and immediately started making stew. I LOVE stew, just haven't made it in a long time as it takes a bit of morning prep and planning the day before (so the meat is thawed). It's waiting in the crock pot, making the house smell absolutely wonderful... I'm so hungry! Lol. I then made chocolate chip cookies for Chuck as I haven't baked much in a long while. Haven't wanted any sweets myself, but poor Chuck is just wasting away! Ha ha! So, now he's got cookies. I exercised while waiting for the cookies to bake. I also cleaned the stove and the filters for the stove exhaust fan. They are so nice and clean now! It was easy too! We went away for the afternoon, so I didn't get the chance to bake buns to go with the stew unfortunately. Sigh. But when we got home I went to work on my mural again! It's looking soooo good! I'm excited! I then made banana muffins for the Church fellowship in the morning... two dozen (minus one... not enough batter... perhaps minus two if I feel inclined to eat one... hee hee). So, now I'm taking a break while waiting for Chuck so we can eat that stew I've been smelling all day! I guess we'll need to just have bread with it. This evening will be nice though. Chuck promised to go for a walk with me!
Ah, the wonders of life without the television. Why do we even have one... except I'll be happy for it again when we're done the tv fast I'm sure!
Have a wonderful day!

It IS nice to make lists. I write down the smallest things I need to do and it really does feel good to mark things off. Also when Lee comes home at the end of the day and asks what I did all day, I have a list right there & I can tell him! Of course a lot of the things seem small & insignificant, but they were things that I wanted/needed to get done, so I feel good about my accomplishments!
