So, I'm really happy with myself. I managed to work on some of my unfinished projects. One of these projects was sewing. I've been meaning to finish these "diaper bags" for a long time now, and just haven't gotten around to it. I had the pieces cut, but didn't have the velcro so I couldn't go any farther than that. They have an inner lining, so you don't see any loose threads or seams. So nice! I was going to give one to my brother's fiance for little Avae, but they look so nice together.... ha ha. One is silver/blue, the other is beige (but looks pinkish next to the blue one).

I also managed to work on my mural a bit more today... the one that has been sitting dormant for 2 years or more (it is of Zelda, Link, and Ganondorf from one of my fave video game series). I did the first two characters within 2 or 3 weeks, but then only kinda started the last character (Ganondorf... he's HUGE), then left it due to school and other things. I know, excuses excuses. So, I wanted to finish, and now I am going to. I'm trying to do a bit of painting, only 1-2 hours every day. I'm so happy with what I did yesturday and today. Those portions were the more difficult parts.
Right now I'm making salmon and rice pilaf. Mmmmm. I want to make stew tomorrow. I haven't actually eaten a whole lot today, as I felt sick thinking about the food we had that was readily available. Just had some toast with peanutbutter and milk for breakfast, then lots of veggies, crackers and cheese for lunch, and peanuts for a snack. So, this meal will be great for the tummy. I did exercise today, and am proud of myself for that too. It's no fun exercising indoors. I'd much rather go for a walk. At least the cold snap is supposed to be over... maybe Chuck will want to go for a walk with me later! ;)

I need to get back into my story writing again. I've left that for far too long again. I also need to finish the farm financials for 2007. Ick, it's almost February! Sigh.
I will leave you with a pic of some of my "valentine" decorations, which is really just me adding a cute ribbon to the decorations I decided to leave up from Christmas! ;)

Does that ribbon have roses on it? That is so neat! Where'd you get it?
