Ultimate Blog Party 2009 - Welcome to my Party!

Hi, I'm Sabrina, and Welcome to my blog! Come on in, take your shoes off, get comfortable and enjoy a few minutes to yourself! The party is just beginning, and I must say, this is my first! Well, this year has been a year of firsts, so why not!?

First thing you may notice upon entering is the number of baby pictures. Yes, there's a highchair, a playpen, a bunch of toys... no mom's life is complete without them! And I'm a first time mom (there's that 'first' again). Anyway, I should show you around a bit. If you want any recipes, there's my cookbook blog where I've got loads of recipes I've tried over the last couple of years. Wanna join in some video game fun? I have a blog called Gamer Gal dedicated to some of my video game talks... (I really need to start playing again... it's been too long). Like scrapbooking and digital photo editing? Here's my photo room called Picture Perfect! I'm a part of Thankful Thursdays, have a 101 in 1001 list, and love to make crafts of various types. Yeah, I'm a SAHM... I guess also a WAHM, considering I live on a farm and do the paperwork and financials. Nice set up if I do say so myself. I love the country life!

I've been happily married for almost 6 years, have been a mom for a grand total of 6 months! I can still hardly believe it myself! My blog used to be dedicated to all things pregnancy, not to mention all the things I was doing to prep for baby (many have mentioned that I should NOT have been climbing a ladder and leaning over stairs in an attempt to paint my hallway at 6 months pregnant... and mowing the lawn is NOT fun when you are hitting 8 months, although the belly offers more heft in pushing that mower along). I've toned down a lot since having my girl, although I'm still crazy (my latest project involves sanding, staining, and varnishing a bannister and railing that we finally put in). I'm very task oriented... sometimes it drives me crazy.

Anyway, now my blog seems to be focusing on that lil bundle of joy I had back in September. She's such a sweetie, I can't resist her (I could be a little biased... wink wink). And I LOVE my digital camera with all these pics I can take of her (I wouldn't be able to explore my creativity as much with those other ones... film and developing get expensive!). I still talk a lot about the crafts and organizing I'm doing, and I still want to get into some money saving tips on here yet, but I'm having difficulty finding time. Hmmm... is this something common to motherhood?

Is it time to go already? My, time does fly! Anyway, I can't let you leave without meeting my baby girl... she's six months old as of yesturday you know! So, yesturday we decided to feed her rice cereal for the first time! It was a messy endeavor... but lots of fun! She sure enjoyed it, although I think she just really liked the spoon!
