So... I found out about this being
We Heart Art week through
The Snail's Trail... but ended up on the bandwagon a day late. I thought it would continue through
Friday, but turns out it just ends on Friday, so I missed the boat. Sigh. Anyway, I did some art I've been meaning to do for my baby girl's room... finally. I've had these 3 canvases for months, and only finally painted them today. All of them. I could have stretched it over the week, but I don't work that way (
haha).

Note the reoccurring theme... ladybugs, daisies, and fairies.

I adore this one! I really wanted a baby fairy. You can barely see the wings.

I liked the idea of a fairy sitting... where you see the back. Kinda like you snuck up on it.

I couldn't come up with a third one that used a daisy and didn't look too much like the other two, so I figured we'd do one that needed TLC from the local fairy.
That's that. Now to put them up. Later.

Oh, my! Oh, my! Oh, my! I am totally swooning over your paintings! They are beautiful! And the baby looks so real. I dream of painting fairies and flowers on my daughter's bedroom wall...but haven't had the courage to do it. I wish you could just come on over to my house and help me with it. ;o) You have inspired me to give it a try. Thanks!
Wow, you are so incredibly talented! I love daisies so your paintings immediately caught my eye. What a lucky little girl Marin is to have such a creative mother. :-)
These turned out really great! I love the baby fairy the best I think. :-)
