Day 61 - July 31
It was a rainy day for the parade, but that didn't stop half the community from coming out to see it anyway. And would you believe Fred Penner was there? Yup, you can see him in the first photo, but I like the second one better... because it's zoomed in. They were playing country songs, so I didn't recognize him at first. I used to LOVE Fred Penner!
Day 62 - August 1My cousin got married, and we went to the ceremony. I didn't realize my camera was on the wrong setting, but I actually kinda liked this pic. The ones I took at the wedding didn't turn out too well since I didn't (couldn't) use the flash. Sigh. I need to brighten them a bit.
Day 63 - August 2We went to the city for a picnic and a bike ride, and it was a lot of fun! One of the buildings at the park has these gorgeous pillars I couldn't resist taking a photo of... I love the branches and vines climbing them!

That's my niece in the first Fred Penner pic! She's one of the 3 girls sitting on the float. My niece is the one sitting directly above the word "Fred". Yay, she's famous, haha!
As they say, "what goes up must come down", but somehow babies don't realise that as they begin their climbing adventures - cute!
