Fabulous N Fit by Fall Challenge

I saw this challenge through Beth at I Am Heading Towards My Destiny and thought... hmmm... I need accountability even though I really don't have pounds I wish to lose. I haven't been working out regularly and must say, my baby belly is not going away. I really need the motivation to work at it, and this is it!

Part of the challenge is to post a pic of your scale... and since the only scale I have is the Wii Fit, here it is. As you can see, my BMI is normal already, so weight isn't the issue for me. What I need to do is lose fat and gain some muscle (so I can pick up a baby who is growing in size and weight consistently!).

I SHOULD take my measurements so I can see what I want to lose.
30" narrowest part
36" across my fat (belly and love handles... blech)
41" on my butt and hips.
35" on my chest...
Yeah... I kinda still look a bit pregnant! So, my goal will be to lose a total of 6 inches. Is this possible? We'll see...

I saw on Lisa's blog, A Ladybugs Healthy Journey, that she is recording her food and exercise routine... and I thought, 'that's not a bad idea'! So, here is what I did today!

Tummy Ticklers:
Breakfast – cream of wheat with apples (1/2 apple) and cinnamon
Lunch – leftover alfredo with 1cup whole wheat fettuccine, chicken and mushrooms, 1 ½ servings carrots, some chips and salsa (very little), 1 slice whole wheat toast, and about 20 calories in dark chocolate
Snack – 1 piece celery with peanut butter, 4 crackers and 1 slice cheese
Supper – 1 piece salmon, 1 cup Herb and Wild Rice Mix (280 calories), ¾ cup mixed veggies, 1 Tbsp homemade tartar sauce, ¼ banana, 3/4cup banana pudding

Muscle Workers
1 hour yard work (weeding, watering, cleaning solar lights... I finally got outside and did something! I'm soooo happy!)
Tricep extensions – 20 per arm, 4 lbs
Jackknife – 30 reps
Plank – 60 seconds
Arm and leg lift – 20 reps per side
Torso Twists – horizontal and vertical, 6 reps
Yoga – Cobra, Bridge, Spinal Twist, Shoulder Stand, Palm Tree, Triangle
Wii Fit Jogging – 20 minutes, 3.662mi

And that is that. I know, not the most stimulating of posts... but hey, at least I'm getting it out there for the world to see! Now maybe I'll actually do my workouts again...

Maybe...

Hey! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of your "scale" The WiFit looks way better than my scale...LOL.

Nope, I don't have a problem with you creating your blog to be similar to mine...and I actually LOVE your "Tummy Ticklers" and "Muscle Workers" titles... Very Clever!

I keep trying to "follow" your blog, but I don't see a link to click to follow? Is your's set up differently? I really want to have your blog show updates on mine...LOL.

Good Luck with your journey to becoming fit.

Okay, so I think you might have exercised more in one day than I do in a month!

This isn't a bad idea though. I don't necessarily want to lose any pounds (okay, maybe one or two), but I would love to REARRANGE those pounds to be a little more fit, haha.
